Ajaccio Country is organized around an extended gulf where history, culture and nature intertwine. The island road leads to Parata and the Sanguinaires, a rocky promontory bathed in light overlooking the Mediterranean. Nearby beaches, including Capo di Feno, alternate between fine sand and wilder landscapes. The hinterland completes the whole with the Prunelli valley, Tolla lake and hilltop villages that enrich exploration.

Contrasting territory blending sheltered coves, deep valleys and villages with strong heritage. Close to the Propriano gulf, it reveals a southern atmosphere and powerful landscapes shaped by rock. Sartène, "the most Corsican of Corsican cities" according to Mérimée, perfectly illustrates this identity with its massive houses and distinctive religious traditions. The Valinco gulf, its archaeological sites like Cauria or Filitosa, and the surrounding reliefs form a rich whole.

Between the cliffs of Bonifacio, beaches of great beauty and fragrant forests, this territory blends spectacular landscapes and strong culture. The streets of Bonifacio overlook the Mediterranean from their limestone promontory, while turquoise waters and small islands open the way to marine escapes. Porto-Vecchio adds a festive and warm touch with its harbor, pine forests and panoramic views over the gulf.

Granitic massif to the south, composed of plateaus, dense forests and prehistoric sites. The altitude provides pleasant coolness in summer, and stone villages tell a rich and fascinating past. Land of chestnut trees, cradle of many historical figures, this region breathes Corsican memory. The roads wind between deep forests, villages clinging to slopes and baroque churches with colorful facades. Water gushes from many springs, and the peaceful atmosphere offers a return to rural, proud, silent and deeply alive Corsica.

True mountainous lung, this territory concentrates the political and cultural history of the island. Corte, spiritual capital, imposes its citadel on a rocky spur. You cross there a mosaic of landscapes, from the beaches of the Valinco gulf to the forests and high plateaus of the interior, in a soft, rural and authentic atmosphere.

Until Solenzara, the Oriente unfolds a luminous facade between long sand beaches, natural ponds and mountains in the backdrop. This open coast towards Italy blends ease of living, preserved nature and hinterland villages, with its share of rivers, forests and vineyards.

Between Bastia and the south of the eastern plain, the Costa Verde deploys a long ribbon of natural beaches, chestnut forests and villages clinging to the first reliefs.
